Supplying fencing materials for a governmental project requires more than just providing products—it demands strict compliance, verifiable documentation, and unwavering quality control. Recently, Skyhall Fence successfully delivered 820 meters of galvanized chain link fencing and 2,500 meters of reverse twist barbed wire to a new Australian customer for a government infrastructure project. This case study details how we met every technical and administrative requirement.
The buyer is a joint venture company with employees from both Australia and China. Their team decided to source from China after determining that local products offered superior quality and more competitive pricing than alternatives from other regions. The company’s Chinese representatives visited Skyhall Fence in person to discuss project requirements and their expectations regarding material supply.
After several rounds of thorough discussion covering technical specifications, compliance standards, and delivery logistics, we finalized the deal and moved into the production phase. This was our first cooperation with this customer, making it critical to establish trust through flawless execution.
For this government project, we supplied the following fencing system components:
Galvanized Chain Link Fencing (820 m total)
Reverse Twist Barbed Wire (2,500 m total)
Complete Accessory Set
Line wire, support stay, tie wire, tension bars, tension bands, posts, and all mounting hardware – ensuring the customer could complete installation without additional procurement.
Since every part of the fencing system had to comply with strict Australian governmental standards, we provided a complete line-by-line documentation list for each component. Below is just a standard list that we applied to this order. If you are preparing fencing materials for similar government projects, please email us directly to get the full applied standard list with each fencing part matched.

We conducted a series of rigorous inspections on both raw materials and finished products:
Raw material verification – Steel wire grade and zinc coating thickness checked before weaving
In-process monitoring – Mesh uniformity and barb winding consistency during production
Final product inspection – 100% visual check plus random sampling for dimensional and coating tests
Inspection photos from this order are displayed below to show how we ensure high quality for each shipment.
Proper packaging was critical to ensure all goods arrived intact at the Australian destination port.
Chain link rolls: Compressed into flat rolls, wrapped with PVC film, and packed in palletized bundles
Barbed wire coils: Wrapped with waterproof paper and woven bags to prevent moisture while avoiding any injury risk during handling.
Accessories: Packed in reinforced cartons, wrapped with plastic film, and strapped onto pallets.
Loading: Mixed products secured with lashing belts and anti-slip mats inside 20 GP containers
Packaging and loading photos are displayed below to illustrate how we fix goods for ocean transportation.
This Australian government project was completed on time and within budget. The customer received all 820 m of chain link fence, 2,500 m of barbed wire, and every accessory exactly as specified. Our complete documentation package allowed them to pass all on-site compliance checks without delays.
The Australian joint venture has since expressed satisfaction with both product quality and service transparency, and we continue to support their future fencing needs.
